ABOUT ME
My Story
My name is Deirdré and I live on a self-sustainable homestead (farm) in the Cullinan district, Tshwane, Gauteng province, South Africa. I am married to Gerhard and have two lovely grown-up children.
My earthly occupation is a non-practising attorney and notary of the Supreme Court of South Africa and I have about 20 years’ experience in commercial law. Jesus Christ however called me in 2011 to “set the captives free” (Isaiah 61) and, since then, I have completely surrendered my professional life and personal career to follow His calling.
My spiritual background was initially Dutch Reformed Church and thereafter
(for about 14 years) Charismatic Christianity. I was previously known as “Deborah” in the South African inner healing and deliverance ministry called “Ignited in Christ”. I ministered inner healing and deliverance intensively for just over 12 years to my fellow charismatic believers.
I was initially baptised as a believer by full immersion in water as well as baptised in the “holy spirit” to receive “power” for discipleship. I, in turn, baptised hundreds of fellow believers by full immersion in water and prayed with them for the baptism of the “holy spirit”.
During this 12-year period of deliverance ministry, I literally wrestled with the enemy (demonic entities) just to discover, at the end of the period, that I was deceived. I was also, unknowingly, used by the enemy to deceive many other believers. Due to deception from the enemy, our ministry caused these believers to become bound to the enemy and to, unknowingly, accept also “another gospel, another spirit and another jesus” (2 Cor. 11:4)
Jesus Christ however allowed me to go through all of this to show me the depth of the enemy’s spiritual kingdom of darkness, as well as how the enemy binds people, essentially and in the first place, through RELIGION.
Since 2011 up and until now, my calling in Jesus Christ remained the same, namely: “Set the captives free.”(Isaiah 61:1). The focus of my ministry however is now to warn the true Bride of Jesus Christ against the dualism contained in Christianity due to paganism that was incorporated into the simple and pure gospel of Jesus Christ.

free in Him
Today I no longer consider myself to be a "Christian" but rather a mere believer in Jesus Christ and in the eternal price that He paid for me with His blood to redeem me from the curse of sin and death. I worship a Jesus that is alive and that overcame the enemy on the cross and who lives inside of me through His precious Holy Spirit. I also no longer believe in the Bible (i.e. make an idol of the Bible) but I solely believe in the simple and pure gospel of Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
